Meet the Founder

Born into humble beginnings and shaped by the deep south, Ashanti knows firsthand what it means to fight battles both seen and unseen. From navigating childhood trauma and emotional scars to facing physical and spiritual exhaustion, his journey has never been easy — but it has been transformational.

Through the discipline of physical training and the intentional pursuit of mental wellness, Ashanti began his journey to rebuild what life tried to break. Day by day, rep by rep, prayer by prayer — strength returned. Not just in body, but in mind, spirit, and identity.

Fitness became a form of therapy. Mental health became a mission. And faith became the foundation.

Today, Ashanti stands not just as a coach or trainer, but as a living testimony that you can rise from the ashes, that trauma doesn’t have the final word, and that strength is forged through surrender.

Whether leading others through workouts, sharing their story, or mentoring those still in the valley, Ashanti is committed to helping others find the freedom he once fought for — by combining physical resilience, mental clarity, and spiritual truth.

What is Godly Fitness

Most people come to Godly Fitness for the physical.

To get stronger. Leaner. More confident. To finally feel good in their own body again.

And that’s where we start.

At GodFit, we build real, sustainable physical strength through structured training, accountability, and programs designed to meet you where you are and push you forward.

But it doesn’t stop there.

Because once the body starts to change, everything else gets exposed. Your habits. Your discipline. Your mindset. The way you handle stress, pressure, and life outside the gym.

That’s why Godly Fitness is built on a three-tiered foundation: physical, mental, and spiritual—all equal, all connected.

Mental health isn’t an add-on here. It’s part of the process. We focus on building clarity, confidence, and resilience so your progress actually lasts.

And spiritually, it’s about staying grounded. Moving with purpose. Becoming someone who’s not just strong—but aligned.

This isn’t about quick fixes or temporary motivation. It’s about building a standard for yourself and living up to it.

Godly Fitness stands on three principles: Gifted. Obedient. Disciplined. That’s why we are affectionately known as G.O.D.Fit.

You’ve been given the ability. Now it’s about showing up, putting in the work, and staying consistent.

Because when your body is strong, your mind is sharp, and your soul is steady… everything else follows.

If you’re ready to train different—and actually become different—this is where it starts.

Strong body. Sharp mind. Steady soul. That’s the GodFit way.
